The DhammaCakka Place Sarnath/Varanasi shed the truths of life, at Ganga ghat one is exposed to all phases of life. Many dead bodies waiting to get burned, family members mourn for loved ones, children playing, naked sadhus practicing asceticism to free from samsara, visitors passing by. You don’t have choice to do anything, but just to observe Dhamma through anicca, a middle path which Buddha taught first time to his five companions at the same place.
At his birthplace, Lumbini, one can experience the calmness; what a wonderful place to be born for Gautama Buddha, where two formers Buddha’s Kanakmuni & Koagaman were born, lived and taught Dhamma.

After Buddha his teaching spread by great emperor Piyadassi Asoka to entire jambudwipa by creating 84000 relics stupa, appointing Dhamma Minister and sending Arhant Bhikkus. The marvelous piece of architecture from Emperor Piyadassi Ashoka proves existence of Buddha and how the 2500 years back ART was great. The Jatak stories carved on caves, gates, monastery and stupa inspired us to developed our Paramis. Sanchi stupa, Ajanta & Kanheri Caves are examples of it.
